Port Stephens Climate

The climate is warm year round with no winter frosts, and cool sea breezes keep the temperature mild in the summer. During the warm Summer the area is a great escape for Sydneysiders after quieter beaches than Sydney can offer. In Spring the whole area comes alive with native wildflowers, while the weather is still pleasantly warm. From late May through July the area is an excellant place to watch the thousands of migrating whales pass by.
